Koma Amed was a Kurdish-Turkish group
Koma Amed was established in 1988 by Fikri Kutlay, Amhet Kaya, Melek, and some other Kurdish students in Ankara, Turkey. Their first album was Kulîlka Azadî, which was released illegally; at that time the Kurdish language was banned by the Turkish government. In 1990 they released the same album legally, but it was banned again. Koma Amed started to work with NÇM (Cultural Center of Mesopotamia) in 1991. After that they released Agir û Mirov
